The official City of Katy Independence Day celebration is back and it is bigger than ever. Typhoon Texas and the City of Katy have teamed up for a full day of water-filled fun and patriotic festivities, starting at 11:00 a.m. with water park excitement, and ending with a dazzling fireworks show at 9:00 p.m. The water park is located at 555 S. Before you light anything at home, know your zone. The City of Katy strictly forbids the use of fireworks, but this law only applies to addresses within Katy proper.
