Dr. Monica Gerges
Dr. Monica Gerges is a longtime resident of Houston, Texas. After graduating from Friendswood High School, Dr. Gerges attended Houston Baptist University where she completed her undergraduate degree in Biology. Following her passion for learning, Dr. Gerges went on to complete her Masters degree in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University. After completing her degree, she returned to Texas where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at San Antonio.
While in school, Dr. Gerges volunteered regularly at Texas Mission of Mercy (TMOM) events, in public health clinics in Texas’ border cities, and as a dental leader in San Antonio’s refugee clinic.
When Dr. Gerges returned home to Houston to practice dentistry she expanded her knowledge with extensive experience working with children. She enjoys practicing dentistry with a wide skill set that includes SureSmile for straightening teeth, treating sleep apnea with the use of sleep appliances, and using Botox for the purposes of treating myofascial pain within the TMJ. In addition, she is certified for both nitrous oxide administration and oral conscious sedation.

In her spare time Dr. Gerges enjoys spending time with her husband, being outdoors and traveling.
